Ladakh

Ladakh, India's northernmost region, is a popular tourist destination known for its natural beauty, alpine landscape, and remote culture. It's also known as the "land of high passes" because of its rugged terrain, which includes some of the world's tallest peaks and highest mountain passes. Cultural festivals

Ladakh celebrates many monastic festivals, which are annual events held primarily in the winter at major monasteries. The Ladhak Festival in September features performing arts, archery contests, and the Ladhak Polo Cup, and provides a glimpse into Ladakh's centuries-old culture and traditions.
